1.2. Task Data
The content of your tasks, reminders, and subtasks that you create, edit, or delete within the App.
Any task data generated by AI suggestions or decompositions is also stored under your account.
1.3. Voice and Handwriting Input
If you use the AI voice input feature, we process your speech through a speech-to-text service to convert it into text for task generation.
If you use the voice input or handwriting input features, the transcribed or written text content you provide will be processed by an AI model (e.g., Azure OpenAI API) to understand and generate relevant tasks.Voice and handwriting data are stored securely within the Azure OpenAI Service for processing purposes in accordance with Microsoft’s data retention and privacy policies.
1.4. AI Processing
When you request AI task suggestions or task decomposition, your input text is sent securely to an AI service provider (e.g., Azure OpenAI) for processing.
We only store the generated output linked to your account. Input text is not used to train any external models.
1.5. Analytics and Usage Data
We may collect anonymous analytics data (e.g., app performance, feature usage) using tools such as PostHog to improve app quality and user experience.
These logs do not contain personally identifiable information.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:Create and manage your account.
Save and synchronize your to-do tasks.
Enable AI-assisted features such as voice, handwriting, and task decomposition.
Improve and personalize your experience.
Maintain security, detect abuse, and debug performance issues.

4. Data Retention
Your account and task data are stored as long as your account remains active.
Backups and logs may be retained for up to 30 days for security and recovery purposes.
5. Data Deletion and User Control
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time.
How to delete your account:
Open the App and go to Settings → Delete Account, or send an email to blotztask.app@gmail.com with the subject “Delete My Account” using your registered email address.
Upon confirmation, all your account data (including tasks and preferences) will be permanently deleted from our systems within 30 days.
Minimal logs may be retained for security or compliance reasons, then automatically purged.
6. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including:
HTTPS encryption for all communications
Encrypted storage for sensitive data
Role-based access controls on our servers
Periodic security audits and updates
Despite our efforts, no system can be 100% secure. You are responsible for maintaining your account credentials securely.

BlotzTask is not intended for children under 13 years old.
